JAN 18, SAT 5:00 PM Step into the enchanting world of Parisian patisseries as you delve into the secrets of crafting Choux Pastry. In this memorable, hands-on class, you will learn the art of French Choux pastry. You'll be expertly guided through each step, mastering the art of crafting impeccable choux dough, precise piping techniques, baking perfection, and the art of filling to fashion exquisite Eclairs and Cream Puffs (profiteroles)! Join us for an unforgettable introductory experience in the realm of French pastry. No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Please note that class will be hosted in Chef Jaime's apartment. Chef Jaime shares her home with 2 small dogs weighing under 30 pound combined. Though they will be in another room to themselves throughout the class, this class is not suitable to those allergic or afraid of dogs. Guests are invited to BYOB (beer and wine only).
Spanish Paella

JAN 18, SAT 6:30 PM Escape to Valencia with our authentic Spanish Paella class! In this fun and interactive class, you will learn how to create this famous Spanish favorite known for its signature golden saffron hue, smoky flavors of chorizo, fresh seafood and textured vegetables. You will also learn how to flavor profile and blend Spanish flavors and where to source fresh, seasonal ingredients in order to master the perfect Paella Valenciana. Perfect for entertaining, wow your friends and family at your next dinner party with your new found signature dish! After creating your Spanish masterpiece, you will have time to sit down with a glass of Spanish wine (BYOB!) and eat the most satisfying dish to your heart's content! Buen Provecho! No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen.
