She owes her talents to her years of study at the Culinary Institute of Mexico in Puebla, where she graduated as Chef International. Originally from Toluca, Mexico, she developed her culinary skills by experimenting with new tastes and trends she discovered while traveling throughout her home country and across Europe.
Despite her youth, Chef Yanni (as she is known to clients and friends) gained priceless experience while working at the Ritz Carlton in Paris and at the Mayan Palace in both Acapulco and Cancun in Mexico. She completed her training at the Ecole de Paris Patisserie Boulangere in Paris, France.
Chef Yanitzin “Yanni” Sanchez will be the first to admit she eats and enjoys traditional Mexican foods — tortillas, frijoles, tacos. But she makes it abundantly clear that no one will ever find a humble burrito in her kitchen but will find the Mexican-French fusion flavours in your cuisine.
She decided to settle in Chicago and found work as a chef in the banquets area of the Art Institute of Chicago. Still in need of a proper outlet for her culinary artistry she dreamed of owning her own restaurant and she did and now the future looks brighter and brighter every day!
